InformationĪll questions must be solely about rainmeter. Im using the Lines 2.0 skin to display information and I am having two problems with it. If you are on a lower operating system, you will need to install the 3.3.3 legacy version. For all the Window PC enthusiast out there, these CPU Rainmeter Skins feature to show processor system info and stats. Displaying CPU temperature with Lines 2.0 and other problems. I think CPUZ and some others might support that.Download Rainmeter Here: Versions 4.0 and above are compatible with Windows 7 and above. It also might be possible to have the "parent" application create some kind of "log" or "html page" while running, which you could then parse with WebParser in Rainmeter. That might be an API in the "parent" application and a plugin for Rainmeter, like SpeedFan, CoreTemp (both plugins come with Rainmeter) or HWiNFO (plugin is available from the HWiNFO site, in the post I linked to above). You will ALWAYS need some 3rd-party application running that measures the sensors and provides some interface to the values that Rainmeter can use. Rainmeter in and of itself does not measure any of the sensors on your computer. One thing I want clear up so there is no confusion. Here is a topic about getting and configuring the application and Rainmeter plugin. If SpeedFan is not able to detect your particular fan sensors, you might try HWiNFO. There is also CoreTemp, but that does not provide values for fan speeds, and thus may not meet your needs. Select Manage to open the Rainmeter manager. Right-click on the Rainmeter icon in the system tray. The only plugins for Rainmeter that I know of are SpeedFan (which I posted about before) and HWiNFO. Launch Rainmeter by double-clicking its icon in the system tray. If you want both fan speed(s) and temperature(s), the options are a bit limited. Get help with creating, editing & fixing problems with skins. Alright so what I have is the temp reading for each core, and what I want to do is record the highest value that reaches and then save it, and update it anytime the current temp exceeds it.
